Hello all,

I just wanted to i recently recieved letter from NVC and they said the case will be forwarded for I-129F to the beneficary consulate. So does this mean when NVC schedule the interview date with consulate in India before sending it to them or does the beneficary consulate in India schedule the interview date after recieving it from NVC. Does anyone know how long this would take until the interview process time and how is the mumbai embassy. Any help would be nice thanks.

No, the NVC does not schedule interviews with the embassy for K3 visa petitions. They send the case to the embassy and then the embassy will sent packet 3 to the beneficiary. Packet 3 will contain all the documents he/she will have to obtain to present at the interview.

Thanks for replying. Does this mean that once the embassy sents packet 3 they will schedule the interview and ask my spouse to bring the documents to the interview. Or, she will have to submit the documents and then they will issue her an interview date...please help.

Thanks!!!!
