Hey Vjers,

I just called my hubby and got all the details about his interview in Frankfurt this morning....

The arrival: He arrived at the embassy at 6:45am and they were let into the embassy at 7:30am. He showed his interview letter, passport and walked through security with the copies of documents I sent to him.

Inside: He had to talk to 3 different individuals at the consulate. The first lady gathered the payment for shipping his visa to him. It was 4,00EUR for that. He had to write his name on the envelope and then she took his passport. The second lady was a real sweetheart he said. This lady looked through his paperwork and verified that everything was correct. There was only one issue that was cleared up and that was my income. I didn't have 125% to the poverty line and she asked my husband about that and he cleared up the fact that I was in Germany with him and couldn't make money there. She said, it wasn't a problem because if you added the months I was away from the USA, I would have been above the 125% line. After that, there were no issues whatsoever and my hubby signed the Part 2 of the DS-230 and his fingerprints taken. The third person was a nice gentleman who asked all the questions in German.

Questions asked:

What is the petitioner's name?

How did you meet?

When did you marry?

How old is your wife?

That was about it. The gentleman then asked to see photos. My husband left the photoalbum in the car!!! So, my hubby said that the photos were in the car and the gentleman said it wasn't a problem. He had enough proof and said, "Congrats, your visa was approved and will be mailed to you within a week."

All in all, it took 2 hours. He went in at 7:30 and was out at 10:30. The drive to Frankfurt took longer than the whole process (4 1/2 hours!!!!).

If anyone has any additional questions about the experience, just ask!

Mr. and Mrs. Przy

Thanks Goxi.

I provided him with copies from the I-130, G-325A, I-864, DS-230 and our email copy of the DS-3032. Pretty much I just duplicated the packets I sent out to the California Service Center and the National Visa Center. I had made copies of all the packets and all the supporting documentation needed. In addition to that, he had his interview appointment letter, his passport, his 2 passport pictures and a photoalbum. His medical exam results were faxed automatically to the consulate after his medical appointment that took place on August 4.

While we were well-prepared, the consulate didn't ask to see any documentation and photos were not needed. My husband was asked a couple questions and that was it. Frankfurt has been known to be a pleasant embassy and our experience can validate that. I don't know how it will be for your embassy, but I wish you luck. Just make sure bring along the copies of the documentation you already sent in, in case something got lost. Make sure you have your supporting evidence like pictures, plane tickets and such. That's about it.

Let me know if you still have any questions.
