I can not believe this i think we got a referral

they make us wait a year i call today was customer service rep all officers were busy she wanted to know if i had sent in the documents requested i told her i was not requested to send any in......she gave me a referral number does that make any sense to anyone i dont know if this is referral or not or just something else they cooked up to prolong us........even our attorney has stated nope no referral has came for u........................................................

Oh Sarah seriously #######?! I have no idea why they are putting you guys through all of this! We were not given any sort of number when we got our RFE....or are they acting like this Referral is something different even from the RFE?! UGHHHH Sending lots of hugs your way

I think it might be a service request reference number, where they have to go find your physical file and see what's going on with it and get back to you. I saw that kind of number on another forum and they called it a service request.

hmmmm these people are all nuts if that is what it is cuz she was asking me if i had sent back what they asked for then said here i will give u ur referral number but it sure makes more sense than what she told me

mmm im trying.......i turned my mom loose on my attorney today....... in the end he said that it sounds like maybe a ref for more evidence or something was sent but we didnt get it so that was the number they gave me for them requesting why we were not sent a notice?.........i dont know csc all need to be on paxel or something close to it.....or maybe i do by this point lol ...........maybe it is because i contacted the obudsmen i guess thats the way to spell it but i sent him copy of everything we sent in about two weeks ago maybe this is the answer to that?

what ever it is its new and so i hope i hope all we have to do is give them something that is so stupid it makes me laugh if it is indeed a request for more evidence.................

so we had a referral number on something similar, and it is just a number they give you as a reference to tell you that they will look at your file before a certain date (referral date)....it is basically just a proof you called them and told them to look at your file... at least that is our case... they mispelled my name in the NOA 1 (even though all our documents had my correct name) and they gave us a referral number ending with VSC and a date.

We were so concerned about the meaning of this that we ended up calling until we finally found someone who explained it to us.... So basically they gave us a date of Sept 8th, meaning that if I dont see a touch by then I am going to think they forgot about the mistake they made. Does it make sense? I hope it helps somehow. I am so sorry for your situation

at this point anything from csc does not surprise me or make any sense to me the would not or could not what ever the case maybe even tell our attorney what the number was and also stated they could not find that i even called that date...............................yup csc our tax dollars at work or is it our application fee? anyways im glad they got ur situation fixed
