NOA2 APPROVED =) - Need help with NBI/POLICE CERTIFICATE

Good news everyone.....our petition was approved on Aug 11 2008. Just waiting for the mail notice. (And we were expecting it around 2nd week of September or October!) Cant believe it!

Im done preparing my other documents such as birthcertifcate and cenomar. but NBI still needs to be done....Im just confused with NBI clearance and police certificate. Im filipino and living abroad. I went to the Phil embassy this afternoon and filled out a fingerprint card. they referred me to one of the police station where I could do my fingerprinting. now my question is....will this be enough to present during my interview and one more police certificate here in Kuwait? Are they the same? or should I still send the form to Philippines? If so, how long would I be able to get the clearance back? i hope someone could enlighten me with this issue.

Im soo excited to see mah hubby to be soon.

as far as i know if you spent at least 6mos in another country u need to get a police clearance there too.

as far as i know if you spent at least 6mos in another country u need to get a police clearance there too.

You need a police clearance in a foreign country where you lived for 1 year. Below that you only need an NBI clearance. God Bless and Good Luck

Hi Congrats!

No, you need to mail it yourself at NBI Office Phils. or send it to your family for them to process. and you also have to have Police clearance from Kuwait and from Phils. Hope it helps.
