Thank you all so much! I can't believe it has been a month since she was born! Happy month bday to Ilyas and Taleen!

BTW has anyone had issues with mucus in the back of the throat? I am breastfeeding and using Enfamil AR (added rice starch) formula and Taleen always seems to have junk in the back of her throat. We had to use the AR formula because she has baby reflux and went through a 2 week period where she was spitting up everything she ate.

as for the mucous, most babies have a little mucousy sounding rattle for the first few weeks, my doc told me its just part of the systems getting up and running. Although if you are worried I would make a visit to the doc. Its so hard when they are really little to know whats normal and whats cause for alarm.

Zaid was raspy for like the first 8 weeks of his life...everyone was ALWAYS commenting like, "god are you sure hes ok" and i would be sooo paranoid...but doc assured me it was normal, and one fine day it just went away...i use to think something was wrong with his lungs or something...lol

Josh too was very raspy for about 8-9wks and everyone always asked me if he had a cold. he had been to the drs a few times in that 8-9wks for his check ups anyway and the dr said his lungs were clear, and he said it was very normal.
