Wow so much action since I have been gone. Glad to see some more babies have been born how exciting. Can not wait to here the names!!!!

And for us its in, we had a beautiful daughter Friday afternoon. I will not kid anyone my c-section was the worst I have had vomiting, tugging, etc....but in the end it is all worth it to see our precious Nahla Lina in my arms. It will be a hard few weeks for recovery with me but baby is healthy. 8lbs 10 oz and 21 inches long. My husband has been the best he enjoys taking care of both his girls the past few days. Even though he is fasting and praying he takes care of us with a smile and so much love. I will share some pics after he downloads them on the computer, plus if your on my space and know me you can check them there first

Our 3 names I like the best are Noah, Jude, and Adam... then we both agreed so far on Qais, but it's losing its appeal for me. So those are some suggestions as well. We tried for names that are good in both languages.

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.

Henia (me)

Who else? Who will pop first? Taking bets now :star: And wishing all the soon-to-be-mommies safe and speedy labours! And we will be waiting for pix soon!

Here is the order of the list how it played out:

Carolyn -August 16 (am)

Jordainian Princess - August 16 (pm)

Samira - Septement 5th

Hanging in There - September 8th (am)

Still waiting to hear from Henia but I suspect her baby is born because it's been since the 6th since we've heard from her and her Husband was looking for a Doctor to check her but they were having trouble finding one because Ramadan started and everyone leaves for that in Algeria.

Im curious as to how the childbirth itself played out. I dont know if its the pitocin that caused all my labor pains or what labor would have been like without chemical intervention. All I know is that I ended up with an epi and a spinal and it still felt like holy hell. I wonder what kind of meds if any HENIA had.. She did send me a text message yesterday at about 11 am from Algeria saying she knew I was in the hospital so she must have been near a computer some time yesterday.. My thoughts are that she probabaly found a dr and they could have done something as simple as getting an amnio hook and had her water broken.

After my baby having the cord around its neck twice and being a deathly white when he was born with blue extremities, I am really really happy I live in the States and that they do non stop fetal monitoring around here. There is NOTHING romantic about trying to have a baby in a third world country

Pictocin causes excruciating contractions which are way more powerful than natural childbirth. Pictocin usually also required the use of an epidural.
