The ugliest person i ever "dated" was my first husband... He's "beautiful" to look at but has a heart that is selfish, hands that he can't keep to himself, a violent temper and was thoughtless about the needs of others.

Who cares if a person is UGLY? I'd rather someone that was not hot, but that treated me well.. I don't need to be nor do I want "eye candy".

Your ex sounds like mine - some people may think he is a 'hottie' but he is a totally selfish, cruel thief and scammer - he actually admitted to me that if he really wanted to work in the US that he would marry a woman who he saw as old, ugly and fat just to get the greencard - luckily for all the women out there he also admitted that long ago he decided he would rather make a living off of cheating tourists and passing himself off as a 'trekking guide'(without a legitimate license, good luck if you need medical help) rather than working.... a real 'hottie', huh????

Give me a guy who is kind and considerate any day over the hotties - the only thing I do care about is that he is moderately fit so he doesn't keel over when we are hiking the Annapurna Circuit....

Many years ago I went to speech therapy camp in New York. This was back when thalymidide babies were born--missing limbs. I can still remember one of the teenage girls there in a wheelchair. Just beautiful. Might have been my first crush--I was in 2nd grade.

Instead of focusing on physical attributes, maybe we could look at most surprising date??

Personally, I am tired of a lot of people thinking that I found my wife on the internet because I wanted beauty and sex.
