I think this thread needs a little dignity.

I'm not sure what that is, but it looks very pneumatic. Maybe some sort of a pump for Shpat?

Why, it's an Accu-Jac. I've been trying to introduce the VJ community to this fabulous 70s device, but somehow it hasn't caught on.

Agnes, would you be so kind as to indulge us in an explanation of what the Accu-Jac is/does? Is it something that a young man like Shpat could use while he is waiting for his lady?

It's a device that allows "hands-free" (if you will) er, services of a highly specific type. There's some kind of sleeve not shown in the picture. Imagine all you can do while the Accu-Jac is doing its thing! Shuffle cards, slice vegetables, knit, play Nintendo...

I miss you guys. Can we have another try at a drunk orgy this weekend?

Let's give it the old college try again. Maybe with a little more notice we'll get more participants.

And I'll try not to be sick this time.

Another advantage would be uninterrupted typing when using instant messaging if the webcam isn't working properly. Imagine--a new world of multitasking! And not just for...um...certain VJ members, but everyone! Well, assuming you have the proper "equipment."

Playing a complex piano piece while employing the Accu-Jac would be a project, but probably good training for the brain.

 Agnes, you are a doll. I think I speak for most of VJ when I say thank you for this magnificent contribution!

And hypothetically speaking, if I, say, had a "friend" who wanted to purchase one, where might this "friend" look for an Accu-Jack?

Sadly, their heyday (1970s) is past, so they're not easy to find. But a determined person could probably find one at a yard sale. I know a lot of yard and garage sale ads say, "NO EARLY BIRDS!" Screw that! Show up at 5 a.m. w/ a megaphone and demand an Accu-Jac.
