In block 10, it asks if you have submitted visa petitions to the CIS. I include the visa app I just submitted a few months back, correct?

Or is that asking if I submitted any visa petition before (different from my fiancee)???

And also, what does it mean with the block 11 checkbox asking if I INTEND or DO NOT INTEND to make specific contributions to the support of the persons in supporting? I will fully support my fiancee, but I don't have a specific contribution plan or anything like that...

Thanks!

Does anyone know if its bad if i filled out the intention to support part. i didnt know what to do so i called DOS and they told me to fill it out and explain exactly how i intented to support my fiance. so i did this and i attached a piece of paper explaining how he had money saved here and i would support him with room and board and any other financial help he needs. i see now that you can put NA in that space. will it matter that i didnt put NA??

Diana,

It's only bad if you wrote something like "Hell no - he's on his own."

There's a reason why the example form on VJ shows to answer this question with 'N/A' - an obsolete reason, and I'll bet that most of the people who copy from the example don't know what it is.

LOL!! Thanks.. I definetly didn't write that!! I don't understand how writing NA could be acceptable for this. especially with the way immigration looks at everything! I am just getting nervous since the interview is in four days!! Its time for me to over analyze everything!!+ ^_^ !!!! anywayz thanks for your reply!!

Diana,

Two years or so ago, prior versions of I-134 had a paranthetical note to answer Q10 only if the visa applicant would be in the USA temporarily. The note is gone but the concept remains.
