MY I129F APPROVAL NOTICE SAYS VALID UNTIL 12/08 , WHY DO THEY PUT A TIMEFRAME ON THEM.SO THIS MEANS THAT HE HAS TO HAVE AN INTERVIEW BY DECEMBER I'M ASSUMING.

in theory but is not always the case... some consulates are very busy and have a big lead time to interview.

I think you will find that if the interview is after the date of expiring that the Consulate has the authority to

extend the date.
