I have no idea why your so excited. I started out in CSC and i think it is no different than VSC. They are both slow. Getting transfered does not mean you will get approved any faster than the 6 month processing time.

08/23/2008- I-130 recieved at chicago lock box

08/27/2008- NOA1 notice date

01/05/2009- recieved NOA2 approval e-mail from CRIS

2009-01-16 : NVC Received and Case Number Assigned (don't know exact date)

2009-01-16 : DS-3032 and AOS bill generated

2009-01-25 : DS-3032 sent (by e-mail)

2009-01-28 : AOS bill invoiced (paid online)

2009-02-02 : AOS bill PAID and cover sheet printed

CSC has been approving a bit more quickly than VSC; so excuse us for grasping at whatever bit of hope we can.

I would be more than happy with a 6 month approval. It's waiting 7 - 9 months that's a bit hard to take.

Well said Jacqui - just to know we are possibly within the 6 month time frame really is a blessing. Lots of touches happening - let's hope we are going to see January approvals coming through.

I just found this thread, I hope I'm not to late. I'm also an august filer. I sent my AOS package on August 13th, so far I had my bio done and an interview schedule for january 21st, 2009. But my case is very complicate as you can see on my timeline, but with the grace of God I will get through it. I will keep you posted, may God bless you and yours. Happy Holidays!!!

I'm hoping we all get approved together so we can go through NVC at the same time. :yes:

I need to get my police certificate ASAP as well so everything is ready to go.

My prediction is that "touches" will start within the next two weeks. :thumbs:
