GFL- i sent it in august 5th, it was signed for on the 6th, and i got the I-797C with a Notice Date of August 08, 2008 in the mail on august 11th. i hope that's more clear.

I hope i get my NOA1 as soon as you did. Good luck with this process, we all will need luck on our side.

I think I belong to this thread as well.

Not trying to keep you uninformed or to kick you out, but K-3 visa is different than IR-1/CR-1. Most of the same steps followed though so feel free to read for your information.

08/21/2008- Mailed I-130 today

08/23/2008- I-130 recieved at chicago lock box

08/27/2008- NOA1 notice date

01/05/2009- recieved NOA2 approval e-mail from CRIS

NVC

2009-01-16 : NVC Received and Case Number Assigned (don't know exact date)

2009-01-16 : DS-3032 and AOS bill generated

2009-01-25 : DS-3032 sent (by e-mail)

2009-01-28 : AOS bill invoiced (paid online)

2009-02-02 : AOS bill PAID and cover sheet printed

2009-02-02 : AOS package sent to NVC (sent overnight)

2009-01-29 : DS-3032 Choice of Agent accepted

2??? : AOS entered into NVC system (NVC recieved AOS 03-feb-2009)

2009-02-01 : IV bill invoiced(paid online)

2009-02-03 : IV bill PAID and cover sheet printed

2009-02-23 : Medical completed

2009-03-13: DS-230 and Packet 3 sent to NVC

i can believe tommorow is going to be my one month anniversity "if you will" of petition 1-130 being sent.... i guess i should be happy i have one month under my belt. lol.. Optimisn is the only way to go lol.....

i sent my I-130 two days before you. you should recieve your NOA1 any day now. i recieved mine in the mail yesterday.

Yay, I finally found the group where I belong. I'm glad to see that early Aug (VSC) filers are being touched.

How exactly do you know you have been touched? Do you have to click on the case#? Does it say touched?

I will be filing by the end of next week, just waiting to get a copy of my marriage certificate in the mail (married last Friday) but everything else is almost ready to go. I'll be filing through Vermont also, I've heard horror stories about the long waits but since they are trasnferring some of 2007 filing to CSC I'm going to hope the newer filing go through quickly.

I guess I lost this thread and just refound it. lol I love that you are in NJ going through VSC and same type of visa. I can keep up with you - YAY!
