I know we need to bring some new picture proof and whatnot to the interview.. but I have a question about the old pictures.

I am bringing a copy of the package we first sent when we first filed, but is it necessary to have copies of all the old photos we sent in the beginning as well?

As it relates to photos, nothing is required. You simply assemble your evidence to provide what you think is sufficient evidence of your relationship. It is subjective at best and you only put forth the best story that you can. Most will say that it is best to be over prepared.

YMMV

I would advise to do whatever feels comfortable and sufficient for you. I'm going to create a scrapbook full of both old pictures (that I originally sent with the package) and new ones from trips since then... also receipts, boarding passes, phone bills and all that jazz. :)

Even if you don't NEED them, you might feel better taking them along.

Unless you're asking if you need to bring the original packet (with pictures) plus more copies.. in which case, I don't think it's needed.

Gemmie: thanks so much for the info! Yeah, I will just bring my whole scrapbook and stuff. I was just worried that I needed the exact package of pics I originally sent.

Thanks for the answers guys. much appreciated :)

Bring all you have...I did. But at the interview they took for "evidence" only my boarding passes for four vists and one photo from each of those visits even though I had dozens of photos. I had emails, telephone bills, western union receipts, letters, receipts for gifts, everything. They showed little interest in that and only looked at it "through the window". Better to have it and not need it though.
