Good afternoon everybody,

I'm confused about this one, say for example I get approval for both I-129F and I-130. And I want to pursue both k3 & ir1 visa's.

First I would to go to mumbai, India for the k3 visa since we got married there (also the interview date comes up quicker than ir-1). My question is can I come live in usa on k-3 visa and later still pursue to get IR-1 visa in Canada.

Thanks

if ur I-130 and I-129 gets approved at the same time...request them to honor I-130 so u can complete your immigration process and not worry about Adj of status later on...from what i have seen and heard K3 is not taking any less time these days than IR-1. it appears to b very similar...mayb a month or two here and there. good luck!

Thanks for your reply about which visa one to go for. say 129F gets approved 1st and I do the K3 visa in mumbai India and come to the US. In the mean time I-130 gets approved, can I still do the IR-1 process in Canada to get IR-1 visa?
