How important are photos for this stage?

Hi, when we filed for the K1 visa we had plenty of photos from our visits together. When we filed for AOS we had plenty of photos from the wedding. Since then, we haven't really done a whole lot that we would take photos together for. So, if we didn't submit any photos, or only submitted a few, would that be a mojour problem?

Thanks.

I would say not submitting any photos would be a bad thing. Surely you were together at family holidays or something. I think you need some.

I suppose if you have enough other joint evidence, you will be fine.

You need to wow them now just like it's suggested at every other stage in this process.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Photos are not primary evidence at this stage - they are *more* interested in the comingling of finances. That said, we submitted a few photos (about 10) for completeness' sake.

Hi Usuklove,

I don't think it would cause any problems if you submitted a few or no photos at all. Though for my situation submitted/will submit a few, just in case. Besides the stuff that they specifically said that they required, the additional "other documents containing relevance to your marriage" seems pretty vague to submit. It can be anything, besides photos, really, in other words. So if you don't have enough photos, maybe you can submit other evidence that also falls under this defnintion?

Good luck in your immigration journey.

I may have included 2 photos- like you my husband and I don't have too many of us together. When we are at family functions or on vacation, most of our photos involve either the children, or one of us with the children (while the other takes the picture). I wouldn't be too worried about it.

See my timeline for all previous dates!

Naturalization:

6/28/09: Mail N-400 to Texas

7/6/09: NOA1

7/24/09: Biometrics

10/08/09: Interview

11/21/09: Receive oath date

01/22/10: Oath Date

With thanks to all the helpful people who made this journey slightly more bearable.

We submitted NO photos with our application. Hubby is a photographer and always behind the camera. I HATE having my photo taken. We did not realize until the time came that we had no photos. For us, we don't think it will be an issue. Our financials are strong.. house jointly deeded, joint tax returns, years worth of joint bank statements from two banks + joint medical and other stuff. That said...since we submitted the application (and realized we had no photos) we have made an effort to have photos taken together (in case of an RFE)..

My personal opinion is photos are not worth much..it's easy to get two people who are scammers to pose for photos but odds are the same couple are not co-mingling their finances to any serious degree (house deeds etc).

How the government looks at it, is anyone's guess!
