Hey all,

I haven't got a confirmation email but I this morning I called the AVR line and it said that the case has been forwarded to the consulate. I'm so happy and I can't wait to tell my husband!! :dance: :dance: :dance:

I'm a little confused about a few things now though:

1. When and were do we pay the fees that are due to for the visa?

2. What date do I use to track the DHL if they forwarded on a monday (they don't work on weekends)?

Thank you all for your wisdom and advice throughout this process! Just a bit more to go. :)

NATURALIZATION
07-03-2013: Eligible to file
07-22-2013: Application sent (Delivered: 07-24-13)
08-05-2013: NOA1 received (Priority date: 07-24-13, Check cashed: 07-29-13)
08-22-2013: Biometrics (Received: 08-06-13, Walk-in: 08-08-13)
09-03-2013: Inline for interview (Yellow letter received: 10-23-13)

08-05-2013: NOA1 received (Priority date: 07-24-13, Check cashed: 07-29-13)

Congrats on the expedite finally getting some attention and action. :thumbs:

I think that if your case has been forwarded to the embassy, then your category might have been changed to F-3. This means that all your fee will be paid at the embassy level just like the K-1.

Tracking the package to the embassy is not even beneficial right now because it will get there in at least 2 days. Even if you track it, you will still have to wait for them to enter it into the kingston embassy system and for them to mail out the package of instructions.

Thanks Clairern! It wasn't too long at all. They responded to the request in 3 days! I got the tracking number and it's almost at the Embassy now. :)

I hope to get some contact from them by sometime next week. My timeline will definately reflect what is happening though. :thumbs:
