I thought when you paid delbros early..everything is going well..but its not...there are some excuses..and so on ..

don't just rely what Richard told you ..He told me that mine was 1-4 weeks before my interview...and then i call again before my interview and he said..15 working days and wait at the embassy...but after my interview..I found out that my DV is not yet done and it was still at the nso!..ive got white slip!..

So I make a calls to the embassy even my fiance too..and Grace told me that the process was 4-6 weeks...omg...then we call up again at the nso..and Richard told me that i have a common name...what!..everybody has a common name and they are not just relying only on my last name and how many people will born on the same date, day and place ...and the parents...

I don't know how are they doing the right process...and why it took so long ... he told to my fiance that it will take 4 weeks ...my fiance said ..it already been 4 weeks!

The thing is..Ive got my latest cenomar and bc from the nso..and already filed for verification for four weeks ago.

what are the process are they doing to verify a simple document to one person if they have a database...So all in all its gonna be 8 weeks! ..

and in the end he told us to call back on friday and we'll see what is the next excuse.. :bonk:

Hayy naku, malala parin ang DV process (malala or palala ng palala).. it almost makes me feel guilty that I got the easy way sa DV. :( I didn't call NSO, didn't bother USEM (before interview) just made two calls to Robbie at delbros (1st right after paying, 2nd call a week before interview) but was lucky that my verification result was with USEM during interview.

Btw dear, yang mga 2weeks, 1-4weeks and 4-6weeks are just standard replies when they don't want to really check your case and just want to let you off the phone fast.

Do hope to see all of you stuck on DV prison be able to get out and recieve the visa soon. (F)

Yup don't stop bugging them. Geez that is such a pain. I didn't go through document verification during my visa application last year. It all went smoothly. Is that a new thing? When did they start doing that? Visa fees, medical exam fees, just everything raised to the roof. tsk! tsk! :protest:

thats what they told me too. and when i asked if there was anything i can do to expidite the case, that fool told me "papuntahin nyo po ang embassy dito para kuhanin."

why are government employees so grumpy?

wala na talaga siguro silang masabi...tsk ..tsk...I don't think so na talagang talagang they checked for it to follow up or they don't know what to say na...I'm really dissapointed.

i was actually given the same excuse. my full name is CATHERINE JOY FERNANDEZ DELA CRUZ. yes, it does sound and look common but my maiden middle name isn't - OLIPAS. and I think gabrielle is right about having other data checked like the date of birth, birth place, parents' name, etc. so i dont know what other reasons they have to delay the document verification process.

this is actually weird. getting marriage certificates and other documents printed in NSO paper actually came from NSO itself. receipts can prove it. it can't be tampered. so i don't see the point as to why the USEM started all this run-around.

additional income for the Philippine gov't??? this is getting so frustrating. we've paid for lots of money for this whole thing so they should at respect us whenever we call them for follow ups and also to make sure that they are doing their jobs.

No wonder the Phil government never really got out of the third world country status. tsk tsk...
