hello everyone.this is my best friends problem:

i was browsing the USCIS website earlier and i can't find anything about how to apply for a tourist visa. My mom is in the philippines and i want her to apply for a tourist visa. She is 70 yrs. old and never been out of the country. I want to know if anyone knows what particular form do i need to get for her to apply for a tourist visa. any help is greatly appreicatted.thanks..

You won't find it in the USCIS web site. I'm sure the Philippines has its own way of doing it. In Colombia for example they have to go to a bank appointed by the US embassy, pay about $100 for a PIN# and that way they will get an interview for a tourist visa.

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview

USCIS does not issue visas.... You need to review the USE Manila website... Local procedures vary but the application fee is now $131, the same worldwide.
