So here is my question as hubby and I get ready to lift conditions on his green card. Last year I made enough over the poverty line etc. However previous years no. My dad co-sponsored our petition when we originally filed. Do we have to show for the last 3 years that I made enough to cover my husband, or will my last year and current paystubs etc prove that we are financially able. Or should I have my dad co-sponsor again?

You need any tax returns with both your names on them. You are not proving any kind of financials, per se. Lifting of conditions is where you prove the 2 of you have had an onging marriage and lived together and all that. Anything that you have that shows that is what they want. They could care less how much you made/make at this point.

Yeah, It is nice isn't it? I just mailed ours in last Wednesday. It seemed so much easier then any of the rest of that paperwork, except that I know it wasn't cause it ended up weighing over 5lbs.

This is the easy part.

You will have to google it for the number of people you are thinking. I see you are LOC....you don't need to worry yourself about it either. If it's for someone else, google is your friend.

I think if you look up the I864, the instructions, or accompanying papers should list the current poverty levels (I think).

I know the I-751 is all about co-mingling and what not, but I've wondered whether they really don't care about how much you make. If the non-USC is a big earner, I'd think that they might look on that positively (whether they're mandated to do so or not). Won't be a burden to the state and all that.
