I LOVE gnomes! People think I'm crazy when I tell them. Ironically I dont own one myself. I have been on the search for the most perfect gnome. I bought my dad a gnome once for his yard he recently landscaped. When I came to visit him a few months later I didnt see the gnome in the yard. He said he was scared to put it out there for fear someone would still it and take it all around the world....haha, my dad is cute. I went to see him for Fathers Day, and the gnome was safe and sound in the lawn. But he keeps it at the closest spot to the front door as he can, to keep and eye on it.

I think about doing that all the time. I've surveyed several yard gnomes and daydreamed about it. Many of my friends after right after college travel the globe for awhile and that would be a good oppurtunity to take a gnome along. I gnomes!

I love the movie Ameile & I used to watch that classic movie "The Gnome Mobile" over and over when I was a child.

This is a lot older than that movie... my sis and her friends did this three years running. A neighbor on the other side of our 'hood would put out a bunny statue for easter each year, and each year my sister and her friends stole it to take on spring break and returned it with funny pictures... they always just went to the beach, buy they had some awesome pics with it. Their junior year, though, they included pics of bunny and a bare breast and bunny smoking a reefer, and it was not put out for easter next year.
