5 weeks left to interview, time to sell my car!

Everyone here is likely LEAVING Canada, so I could probably find a better place to do this, but if anyone knows of someone who might be interested, I'd appreciate you letting me know.

I'm selling my 2003 Accord Coupe EX MT6. Purchased brand new in September of 2003, this car has been used almost exclusively for trips from Toronto to Cleveland and back. With 71,000 km of highway driving on it, this always-garaged car has seen very little wear and tear.

The Accord EX-V6 6-Speed Coupe was Honda's absolute top-of-the-line vehicle for model year 2003. With a powerful 240 hp V6 under the hood, it still manages an amazing 32 mpg on the highway. And, it uses regular (not premium) gasoline!

It has almost every option available for the 2003 EX Coupe (not that there are many - it already comes with almost everything available). I added:

Single disc MP3 player

XM Satellite Radio receiver (monthly subscription required - http://www.xmradio.com)

Auto-dim interior mirror with integrated digital compass

Rear wheel mudflaps - I have a spare set for the front as well

Additionally, the car comes with a set of BFGoodrich Winter Slalom tires, 205/60-16 mounted on 16-inch steel rims, with lug nuts included. These tires and rims were purchased new in December of 2004, and have approximately 9,000 km on them.

good luck selling the car - by the look of it i don't think you will have any trouble at all. i'm driving my car down. in fact out of my car, my dogs and me - i'm the only one waiting on the paperwork to go down. :whistle:

Best of luck selling ur car. I took a huge loss on my 2004 Nissan Spec V,but didnt want to deal with transferring the loan. http://toronto.craigslist.org/ can be a good free place to list it. cheers

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Good luck selling your car! I decided to take my Mazda 3 with me and it is a bit of a hassle with transferring the loan and waiting for compliance letter. Probably would have been easier to sell it, oh well..

Because when I looked into taking it to the US, I discovered it was going to cost over $3,000 in parts to modify it to meet US code. I just can't justify that. I'll buy a new one once I get down there.

I didn't modify it! It would need one of the catalytic converters changed, one of the engine control computers changed, and a different EGR system. All emissions. Oh, and if I ever wanted a chance of selling it in the US any time in the future, I'd have to change the instrument cluster as well.

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.
