My NOA2 will expires on 09/03/2008 which is less than a month. My fiancée interview date not until 09/11/2008. Should I extend my NOA2? or just let it go. If I need to extended it. What form should I use.

Please help.

Thanks

In many K-1 cases interviews tend to be after NOA2 expire, example China ALL K-1 interviews happen after NOA1 expires, they extend all of the cases.

This is a relief to hear. So how long does the process take once China recieves the case to them sending out the packet? I got a notice from NVC stating they are sending out my case to China Embassy within a week. But this letter was dated 7/18. My fiance just called and said that our case is not yet in their systems? I know my buddy "God's girl is going through the philippines embassy and me and her have very simular dates from date submitted I129 to NOA2 approval and she is already booked for the interview. Is there that much backlog on China embassy??

That's true. Usually, consulate automatically extends validity of NOA2 if interview does not happen within the stated validity period.

also to be on expirations. My NOA2 was on 7/2/08. So I started gathering my I-134 forms and supporting documents and actually sent it out today. What if my fiance's interview is not until November. Is those forms I sent good enough? Am I screwed with having to do it again ?

NVC to the consulate in Guangzhou tends to be 3 months. There is only ONE embassy in China, it is in Beijing, and they do not handle Immigrant visas.

Recommend to do the I-134 closer to interview, at or around the time the consulate sends out the information packet "P3"
