I had my test today for citizeship, it all started at 820 am, around 930 I was called in, asked 6 questions, around 20 mins later the officer told me congrats I had passed and to return at 10:45, which I did to wait another hour, whilst they did more paperwork, I was then told to return for the oath at 130 the oath took around 20 mins.

Can someone add me to the oath taken please.

These questions are to anyone who has already had their interview. Did you take family photos with you to the interview? Did you take two(2) passport photos with you to the interview? Does anyone know if the Atlanta Office does the oath on the same day?

-Nope did not take family photos. Not required too and one doesn't have to prove with pics during the naturalization process. They are looking for more financial docs, tax returns, bank statements, etc. Correct me if I am wrong anybody

-Yes I took 2 passport pics just incase they did not like the ones I sent in with the file. I figured I could use them for my passport after the oath ceremony.

-I don't know about the Altanta office.

Thanks for the reply. I am taking everything I can organize so that they dont ask my husband for something he didnt have. I mean it couldnt hurt. i threw in a letter from my life ins company stating my husband is beneficiary, a few recent utility bills, tax transcripts, recent bank statements, pay stubs from both our jobs, a notice from my job stating i was approved for my annual raise, etc etc. Yes it may be a big bundle and maybe they didnt ask for all this but I'd rather be safe than sorry. We will go out this weekend and get the passport photos.

I am just wondering how you got the biometrics info before you know your case number.

Yeah besides sending all that jazz, I also took stuff that they had requested, like kids birth certificates, marriage certificates, blah blah blah. He never asked for them. But like you said better safe than sorry. You never know with the USCIS.

I had my big file for my I-751 and N400, which contained the originals of all the evidence I had sent. Decided to take these two big files since we didn't have an AOS interview nor an I-751 interview. The IO only looked at my husband's original birth certificate and our original marriage certificate. I'm thinking she only did that so I didn't feel bad about lugging two big files to the interview.

I also took extra passport photos but she didn't ask for them.

BTW, when I signed the forms and the passport photos that she had on my N400 file, I used my regular signature.

Do you get the certificate of naturalization right after the ceremony? Or do you wait for it again in the mail?

You get your Naturalization Certificate at the ceremony, You have to hand in your Greencard at the ceremony too.
