Thanks for the add. My NOA date i am not sure about, the first one received is Aug 20 which basically states that my check and application was received. second NOA date is Aug 26 and states the time and date for FP. Check was cashed Aug 19th. Not sure which one is being used in the format. Thanks again and good luck to those waiting!

I got my interview letter in the mail today. Yooohooo! it's for Jan. 14, 2009 at 9 am

Congrats! It's interesting that we both got our interview appointments yesterday. Mine is on the 26th at 8 a.m.!

Congrats to you too! They probably send out a bunch of letters at the same time. which test are you studying for?

personally i think the new one is easier. :) i wonder if they let you choose

Thanks mybunny'shunny... I really would like to do that, but Durham office is 2.5 hours drive for me. I have two babies, both are still in diapers, if my husband could not take a leave from work to be with me, it will be very hard to travel alone with the 2 babies (sigh)... right now, I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that I will get my interview letter very soon. If December comes and still no letter, I might set up an appointment for infopass and hopefully my husband will be allowed to take a leave of absence from work. This is really driving me crazy already. I can't make travel plans because of this.

Yes, i am at Raleigh-Durham office. If I were you I would make an infopass to find out what's going on. They might already sent you your letter, and it might of gotten lost in the mail, things happen.

My FP was a day after yours Sep13. I just received my IL on Nov 22 for Feb 4th so hopefully you'll get yours soon.

DO is different, mine is west palm beach and USCIS shows their processing time as 5months. Good Luck, hope yours is next! I had filed Aug 18

well, i understand how it is with 2 kids :) But at least, give them a call, press different options, till they transfer you to immigration officer, not customer service rep. another thing you can do from home is contact your Senator's office.

Guys, finally i got interview.

Hi Fellas,

My interview/test yesterday went very well but I waited for 1 hour and 40 minutes. I brought with me all the documentations mentioned in my Notice, all originals and duplicates as well but the Officer did not even bother to check any of them except looking at my green card and my passport for my previous travels outside of USA. The Officer asked me only 6 questions. At first, I thought it was multiple choice just like the one online so I waited before I gave my answer :bonk: Though I was nervous the whole time I waited, overall it was a nice experience. The Officer was very pleasant and made me comfortable throughout the whole process. The soonest Oath schedule around where I live is January 30, 2009. Yay, I am almost there and it will be over soon, no more paperworks and waiting :D

Had my N400 yesterday. Was at the Charlotte DO for about 2 hours total. Actual interview was probably 10-15 minutes. The IO was very nice and very professional. Was given the English and civics test first. Questions asked were:

> What color are the stars on our flag?

> Who is the President of the United States today?

> Who becomes President if both the President and Vice President die?

> Name one benefit of being a citizen of the United States.

> Who was the main writer of the Declaration of Independence?

> Who was Martin Luther King, Jr.?

The Charlotte office has oath ceremonies scheduled Dec 17, 18 and 19 but they were already filled so my oath date is January 5, 2009.

Good luck to all those who are still waiting for an interview.

Congrats on a good interview, you are almost done. I have not heard anything about an interview date as of yet. I think it will be Jan or Feb before I get my interview.

I had my interview today. It took 2 hours from my appointment time before they called me. Interview itself was 20 minutes. The officer took about 5 minutes to review my paper. I don't have a date for the oath taking. I was told I'll get a letter in the mail within 90 days. Good luck to all of you who are still waiting for the interview. :)

I had my interview today. It took 2 hours from my appointment time before they called me. Interview itself was 20 minutes. The officer took about 5 minutes to review my paper. I don't have a date for the oath taking. I was told I'll get a letter in the mail within 90 days. Good luck to all of you who are still waiting for the interview. :)

Congrats on your successful interview. Hope you get your Oath Letter soon.
