Well the day has finally here, The wife has her interview at 8:30am today, she spent ages going over all the questions last night and double checking her evidence folder to make sure she has everything she thinks they could need. She even had me do this years taxes this weekend so she could take the 1040 and the e-file acceptance receipt with her.

Will give a full report later today.

Well, Nothing for me yet ! :crying:

Today I had an Infopass appointment and they said my case is still in NBC and has not been transfered yet to my local office!

Last thing I received (in November)was the yellow letter which is about the documents for interview.

I don't know if I should wait some more or do something..

Sorry to hear that Sami. That's a long time to not hear from them. Have they told you WHY it's still in NBC? So annoying.

My local office didn't have any answer. They just said it has not come here yet and we have no information. They said it is not bad to contact them like through letter and ask which I already had done that about 2 months ago and no answer. Yesterday after coming back home from my local office I called USCIS and the customer service said she put a follow-up and gave me a confirmation number and said if I don't hear from them in 45 days I should call back again.

Sorry to hear that Sami. But don't take that answer to wait 45 days. When you call back (don't wait), You gotta insist to the first customer service agent who pick up your call to escalate your call. When they start saying to wait the 45 days, say that they told you that before and it has been more 60 days (which will be a true statement since you had already waited 2 months already).

Usually the second level agent (or officer) would be more useful.

Good luck
