so, Russia was right in their use of excessive force to invade another country...?

In a war, there's no such thing as "excessive" response. The response is either effective or lame; Russia, this time, was effective and was right in being so, as well as in stopping after 5 days.

yes, there is.

Yes you are right, and its called

"Hiroshima"

"Nagasaki"

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

i'm thinking more along the line of a sniper firing from a religious building and leveling the building with air strikes ;)

Or firing rockets and shells after a supposed halt to hostilities has been declared.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

leveling a religious building for a sniper is overkill and unnecessary. as for nuking a country, that's a strategic decision and one that is made at the highest levels.

Or firing rockets and shells after a supposed halt to hostilities has been declared.

Said who? Geogia? Or maybe neutral press? Nope, press reported what Georgia claimed.

Prove it otherwise. Shouldn't be that hard to NOT see a shell hitting a target when there shouldn't be any flying.

:secret: you really don't see the shell hitting a target, you see the impact of the shell and the following explosion.

I was thinking more of the whole effect (firing, shell whistle, explosion, etc). You can't observe it if it ain't being fired.
