Did anyone here booked for flight using NorthWest Airline? Do I really need to book from the NWA-Philippines or it's ok to book from NWA-United States since my fiance is the one booking for the flight using his credit card?

Cos i just noticed there's a question there, RESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES? YES OR NO

When I picked no and forwards to NWA-Philippines the air fare there is really spendy but on the default maybe NWA-United States is just half. Just wondering

Hi Richel!!!

I suggest you do not book directly to NW...they have very high fare...Book on some travel website like the expedia.com...Like us we are using www.vayama.com

Hope this will helped you...

Good luck!!!!!!!

Actually, the fare on nwa site (as well as those on online travel agencies like vayama, expedia, etc.) changes by the hour and by the day for specific flight schedules.. flight schedules that are cheaper today, may not be so this afternoon or tomorrow, and flight schedule that are expensive today may be cheaper tomorrow... and if you are able to get nwa usa site and nwa philippine site on the same page, nwa philippines is actually cheper by $40. (try comparing a flight date in october or november)

I toggled with nwa site and 4 other online sites a few weeks before we finally made our booking. A week before we made the booking nwa philippines was cheaper by $40 for sept 3. A day before our booking, the sept. 3 promo rate was closed for nwa phil. (open then was late sept) while on nwa us site, sept. 3-5 was expensive, the cheaper dates had been sept 1, 2 & 6.. but on the day we finally made the booking, sept 1,2,3,6 were high and so we booked for Sept 4 and got my ticket for $850 and for my kids it is $699 (manila to detroit to raleigh) straight from nwa.com. It was way cheaper compared to prices on vayama, expedia, economytravel, & travelocity for the same flight sched.

By the way, we booked 3 months in advance... The farther in advance you book, the cheaper the ticket prices whether you get it directly from nwa or other airline sites or from online travel agencies. But even if you book a for a flight next week, try playing with different days (monday, tuesday, etc.. weekend ticket prices tend to be more expensive).

Good luck on your airline ticket hunting.

Ate Ninz, I already did that. I opened vayama and expedia and nwa at the same time and the cheapest price we got was from NWA. tsk tsk tsk

I'll leave it up to my fiance... i'm really confuse and he's really good when it comes to budgeting.

Rubchett, we're still thinking about the date. My DV just arrived to embassy last Aug. 8. I'm not sure if my visa will arrive soon.

wag nman po sana kayo mawala..hehehe buti pa ang iba susunduin pero Rudchett this is a challenge for us, diba? :D

Safe trip po, goodluck and God bless.

Hello there,

I flew via NWA, and had a travel agency, Ninfa is my travel agent. :star: They have a good fair ticket price, just book ahead of time and confirm it if you have the visa already or if you are so sure of the date you plan to fly.
