Well, the dizzy spell won. It got worse and worse until I was afraid I wouldn't be able to keep my stomach down. I started tasting blood again. (The last time I stressed out like this I had a mega nose bleed that wouldn't stop.) So I said screw it. I left. I'll go in tomorrow for a few hours when I can work in peace. The drive home was a challenge but sometimes God moves his hand over you. There were no cars on the road I take at all... which is very weird. Good thing. I got home and laid down, and after an hour Mohammed called me. I answered to hear my favorite song being played on guitar. He learned it today and wanted to surprise me. I've been out on the deck in the sun, listening to the geese down by the lake just resting. I'm still dizzy but its not quite as bad as it was. Hopefully after a few more hours it will go away completely.

You know, I blame my job and yes its a huge factor, but this waiting game makes the normal every day stresses a million times more intense. I've seen so many on this board mention migraines and blood pressure problems. I think we should all conspire to PMS at the same time and march on Washington. What do you say?

just_waiting, what is the one thing in the world you love (aside from Muhammad of course)? Find what you love, and do it! Also enjoy the little time left you have as a single woman. Go out with some girlfriends, eat tons of ice cream and pizza together, cause when Mohammad comes, the time for that goes waaaaaaaaay down.

On the front here, Amera and Youssef and coming to visit this weekend, inshaAllah! Yaaaaaaay!

Wow Lynne! That's a lot for migrane meds. Which one did he put you on? Those migranes can be a booger. I've learned that when I know I'm getting one, I will down a couple Mountain Dews for the caffiene and a couple Exedrin. Seems to work as well as the Midran the docs gave me. :D

Amy... the medicine is called maxtel or maxell... it is something new... when i get home, i will put the correct name... it is a teeeeeeeeeeny tiny tablet... only 10 mg... made me sleep allllllllll night! i took it @ 5:30 pm yesterday... was in bed by 6:30 pm... and slept until 7:15 this morning...

this morning, i felt a little fuzzy... but feeling okay now...

I posted this in the yalla thread but figured it is also about today so..I'm postin again.... :hehe:

ok..most of you know that hubbie had a job interview today with the cable company...The manager told him that he is too qualified for the position that is available and that he may do better in the St. Louis facility since they do more detailed troubleshooting. Hubbie told them he may have all these extra qualifications but he needs to get his feet in the door to learn the ways of America before he can have the "bigger" jobs. (I thought that was very professional of him to say). The manager said he didn't think he could start hubbie at a rate of pay that he deserves so he told us the pay/hr and said to go home and think about if he still wants to try the job. He said he can be flexible but can't pay more than the ppl are making that have been there for 2 years. He said he has no reason not to hire hubby so he is just waiting for our reply. ISN'T THAT EXCITING!!! My area doesn't offer much in hubbies field of experience so this job is the perfect job for him here...and it is doing what he likes to do... BETTER YET hubbie is stoked for this...he said he would be so much happier in this job......I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high but I really pray he gets this job!! Keep the prayers comming!!! I'll keep ya updated :P

amal that's wonderful news.... it may be better if he does take a job with a little less responsibility to start, so that he doesnt get a bind... let him get to know people and how to interact with people before he takes on a big task!
