I am US citizen. I filed for my fiancee.

That's fine. Looks at those graphs. It will show you the historical processing times. The USCIS times are useless.

NOA1 is the first I-797C Notice of Action that you receive usually about 1-2 weeks after you file.

NOA2 is the approval notice for the I-129F.

Also, please go here and fill in your timeline. That is how processing times are gathered on this website.

fill in your timeline and you will get an estimated adjutication date. We're going on 4 months this week.

the graphs will show you the historical trend but you have to remember that the data is highly skewed from last years influx of petitions, change in centers, changes in staff...etc.

Yes, historically, Vermont has always been the fastest processing center and the disparity has caused a lot of frustration here. But much has changed in the last year.... especially the last several months.

There are people who sent their petition to California the same time that we did that have already been approved and i'm still waiting. Times.. they are a'changin. ;)

First you need to update your timeline so you will have a better idea of the possible date your case will be processed. A "touch" is only the date when your case was touched  You can check if your case was touched; only go to the USCIS website and check your status just typing your case number. But open an account and you will see the last update (meaning touch).

I hope that helped you :luv:

Thank you very much in advance.

Check my timelines, I filed in Vermont in March, we were approved in May. I heard that recently Vermont has been a little slower. I got my NOA1 within 1 week but another man I know filed last month and it took 3 weeks to get the NOA1 which may mean nothing, really. The USCIS timelines are completely worthless. I know a woman that works there (I live within sight of the VSC) and she says those are the OLDEST petitions in process at the time of the "update" and usually have some sort of problem. 60-90 days for a "clean" petition is normal for the VSC. I know one couple that got their NOA2 in 44 days. Currently VSC is saying they are processing January filings. We filed in March at VSC and already have our visa in hand!!!! And we could have had it in late June except my fiancee could not make an interview then and it got postponed until August 7.

PS...beware the attorneys! They use this bogus VSC and CSC information to show how they get petitions processed "faster". It is BS. No one can speed the process except YOU by making sure everything is there as requested and avoiding RFEs.
