I am LPR. I will apply for my USC 3 months from NOW. I am wondering if I have chance for expedite request to my I-130

My wife is living in the worst please somebody could be, which is Darfur/Sudan. You could find many report about the genocide in Darfur in the media . I have nightmare almost every other day if not everyday that something terrible happened. I call 3-6 time a day to see if she is OK.The Janjaweed (see the definition of janjaweed in wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Janjaweed and the anti government fighter have been fighting each other anywhere in Darfur in the past six years. I have on idea how or what circumstances could let me eligible for expedite. If I would apply, should I send the expedite request by myself or though my congress/senate representative. I appreciate your help

Yes I think you have a good chance for a Humanitarian expedite. I would do both. Send one in yourself and have you congressman help as well. Make sure you have some evidence of her situation when you apply or for when they request it. I wish you good luck.

Your request cannot be filed through your congressman or senator. But depending on where you live, (who is your representative) both can be helpful in getting quick attention to your request.

You can ask your senator or congressman to help you. First you need to do a search on the net to find out who your representative is and then draft a letter expllaining your situtaion completely but in as little words as possible. Send supporting evidence. You'll then fax that in to their office and someone will contact you. You also need to download the waiver they will have on their site...sign it and fax it back with the other documents.

Call the USCIS and tell them about your situation and they will give you more details about filing the expedite with them and wha to do next. Good Luck!
