Yes - as it should be the individual (or couples) right to chose.

Legal

Yes - we have discussed as a couple and have decided that we do not want children. We feel would be unfair to raise a child that is not wanted and would be unfair to put the child up for adoption as there are so many children out there who need homes.

a parasite is still life, is it not?

Yes, it is; however, no one blinks an eye when we go to a physician to have a tapeworm killed, now do we? If "life is life" then perhaps we shouldn't do that and instead nurture the tapeworm (and other parasitic organisms) as it feeds, which in turn will eventually make us sick and perhaps even kill us too.

Dalegg, I know you understand that a fetus is not the same thing as a tapeworm. However, both may prove a danger to the host. Unfortunately, this debate ("is the fetus/unborn child truly alive at such-and-such time") may never be answered. Science can't figure it out with the data present and religion, I'm sorry to say, is unreliable at best. All we have are two sides that viciously argue back and forth, presenting what they believe are facts.

In reality, nothing said from any of the Pro-Choice or Pro-Life groups may really matter. The final decision will be up to the mother (and hopefully the father, as well). If she wants the child, she will keep it; if she doesn't, she will abort. It's just that simple.

I do volunteer work at a shelter for abused women.

The attached file is of a 14 year old girl/woman with her daughter. The woman and the daughter have the same father, that is to say, the woman's father raped her when she was 12 and impregnated her.

After viewing the photo, would you say that would it be better that the daughter would have been aborted because her mother was raped?

Should the daughter pay for the sins of her father/grandfather?

One does not have to be pro-abortion to be pro-choice. I support the right to a choice - pretty different IMHO.

Yes, this is similar to my view.

I believe abortion is murder. However, it is legal in this country and I don't think it should be overturned at this point because I think more human life would be lost if this was the case (for example before Roe v Wade, the numbers of women who died having abortions in back alleys, etc).

1 - I'm not voting, cuz it depends. Abortion only for certain cases, not as a birth control method.

2 - Yes it should be legal, for those cases only, not because you're a 13 year old ####### that didn't use condom, someone that engages in unsafe sex and doesn't want to deal with the consequences, someone who doesn't do anything to prevent and thinks it's not the right time, or they're too young, not in good financial situation, etc, boohoo.

3 - No I wouldn't.
