Hi guys! I'm new comer here. Nice meeting you guys! I have a few questions actually wanna somebody can help me to figure out. I submitted my medical examination and the Immulization form recently and I heard from my friend in NYC, she said that was the last evidence i have to sent before i got the interview for Green Card. I checked my case on the USCIS web site and it said i still have to wait for like 270~300 days to get the reponse from them. I'm in boston, my friend in NYC got her interview 3 months after she submitted the immulization form. Do I have to wait that long according to the USCIS or it's gonna be faster? I'm exhaused for waiting......Hope somebody may give me some help! Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, there is no rhyme or reason to the waiting time.

Even people who go through the same district office can have vastly different waiting times. My wife is going through the Orlando office, and most poeple had to wait well over a year before their interview. Therefore, we prepared oursevles for a long wait.

As others will suggest the best thing to do is to work on gathering all the info you will need for the interview.

Best wishes.

So Boston is your district office? They are processing I-485 cases with receipt dates of Oct 26, 2005.

Processing dates (pick your district office)

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

As no case is exactly the same, I would suggest you buy a very good book or get a library card, best of luck with the process.
