The I-864, as far as I know, no longer needs to be notarized. However, you should check with the consulate in Amman if there are specific rules for Jordan. More likely than not, the embassy website hasn't been updated since the change in procedure.

In China, it is the same. There is no need for the petitioner to notarize his/her I-864, but I believe the joint sponsor must (not too sure).

In China, it is the same. There is no need for the petitioner to notarize his/her I-864, but I believe the joint sponsor must (not too sure).

No, the joint sponsor doesn't have to have the I-864 notarized.
