Guys!

I got this morning Packet 3.5 from US embassy in islamabad.

And in that packet they sent me the Ds 230 & I 864.They want me to fill it out and send them back.

The strange thing is that my wife who is US citizen,she did not send the Ds230(Which i have sent her)& I 864.

Is that mean our case is in Islamabad US embassy?

They also told me that Send them Ds 230 & I 864 if my wife did not send the I864 to NVC in USA.

I m tottally confuse what does it mean how can they even send me the packet 3.5 while we did not send the Ds230 &

I 864 to NVC.

Plzzzzzzzzz guide me i lost now and totally confuse is that bad sign or right.

The first form you should have got is the DS-3032. Who did you select as your agent on that form? If you chose your wife then she should have sent the forms to the NVC. If you were chosen then you should be sending in the forms as indicated in packet 3.5. Go by what you put on DS-3032. If your wife is the agent then have her send the forms to the NVC as soon as possible. If you are then send them to the embassy before your interview.

Yes my wife is acting as my agent.

Thats y i m very confuse,Nvc is still waiting forms Ds 230 & I 864 from my wife.

How can US embassy send me the packet 3.5?

Is this a mistake from thier side?

It might be possible that they transferred your case to home country due to backlog here at VSC...

It is possible that your interview date has been scheduled. They don't need to wait for the NVC to finish before scheduling the interview. That is most likely why you were sent 3.5 to get you ready. I sugest you have your wife file the papers with the NVC as soon as possible. You want to have it done before the interview.

By the way your timeline says your I-130 is not approved. Are you still waiting for NOA2? If you are done with VSC then look at my post above.

We expidited our case when we started the process and we got approved in 3 months and again 1 month before my wife send the email to nvc to expidite the interview in US embassy in islamabad.But nvc did not reply her back.

So should it be the response?

But with out case completeat nvc how can US embassy send me the packet 3.5?

Did u guys hear about it?

You just answered your own question. You filed an expedite with NVC. It must have been approved. If you check your status with NVC over the phone they will most likely tell you your expedite was approved. They are ready to schedule the interview so they sent you packet 3.5. Most likely your case is now transfered. You could continue to file the papers and pay the fees thru the NVC but since they are ready to interview you just send them to the embassy. Congradulations on the expedite.

If your expedite was approved filing with the embassy would be normal procedure if the forms haven't already been filed with NVC. The form you were sent did say to send the forms to them if they haven't already been filed with NVC. You can check with them but most likely they will tell you you were approved for an expedite and to send them the forms directly rather than sending them to NVC.

Re-read my above post. I think you should file everything with the embassy now as indicated in the letter you got with packet 3.5. If you are concerned call NVC to confirm you expedite was granted. The sooner you file those forms the sooner the embassy can finish expediting your spouses visa.
