I need a little advice on this.

My fiance is preparing for her interview and picked up a copy of her childs birth certificate from the NSO. It lists the parents as married. she has never been married.

She found out that her child's Lolo (the fathers father) used to work at city hall and "changed" the birth certificate to show that the parents were married.

He says he did this for the child because he wanted the baby to have more advantages in life.

there is also a resgristration number for a marriage on the birth certificate.

this is a little crazy to me.

she is going to NSO first thing Monday morning to apply for CENOMAR.

whats the likelihood that the NSO has recieved notification from the local city hall and they consider her married? how long does it take to get an anullment in philippines?

I am trying to stay calm and relaxed about this.

Our interview is in 4 days.

what happened during the interview?

Annulments take about 6+ months and cost about 2K. Sounds like you may have more to worry about than a simple annulment!

Especially if they were never married. Where's the father?

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

In our case lawyer hired the doctor. The doctor then proceeds to tell the court the story they want hear. At which point I guess the government tells the church its Okay, its science. The extra expense is the doctors fee. And I get the feeling that is part of their normal practice thus it wasn't a so high that we are lead to believe when we find out women just seperate and not annull their marriages.
