Well, I met my husband in real life at a church dance... we met before we actually started talking.

Would you believe almost four years? A lot of that was due to the distance between the US and Australia and the fact that we were both broke... I would have liked to hop on a plane and go see him five minutes after he proposed, but it wasn't possible at the time!

We "met" online in March 2004, just chatted as friends. August 2004 sends me a message out of the blue that I was the one he'd been waiting for his whole life . My heart skipped several beats and couldnt stop grinning for days. We spoke on the phone for the first time 30th August, his birthday. And then for hours everyday until February 2005 when he came to visit for 2 weeks in England. After he went back we were apart for one week and I knew I had to be with him, so I flew over on 2nd March 2005 and we've been together ever since. We were married in U.S. in May 2005. We have both been back and forth between England and America, testing out both countries before finally deciding to settle here.

So it was 11 months after we met online to seeing each other at Heathrow airport

And I will never forget how it first felt to see how tall he is, to press his cheek to mine, and to hear his voice in my ear without that 'electronic' resonance you get on the phone.

11/12/02 We are "officially" together and admit our love to each other.

11/13/03 Paul flew to Arkansas FINALLY! (What a day that was!) We finally held each other for the 1st time and we knew at that moment we are meant to be... phew!

So exactly 1 year!
