Actually, if you are filing a K1 petition, it would be a huge time saver if he does bring the 4 G325a forms that YOU will have to sign, as well as YOU should write and sign the Fiance Letter of Intent to Marry. Otherwise, he will have to send these back to you once he goes back home and you will have to sign them and send them back to him before he can send the petition in.

It is highly suggested that you read the guide section at the top of the page. You will need to stay educated on YOUR process, because each and every application/petition is different and unique. But the steps to take are specified according to your particular type of case as well as your particular Embassy.

Please read the guides. They are so valuable and provide a wealth of information. You will not be able to proceed through this "journey" without educating yourself. This forum is great, but you can find everything you need by reading both archived posts and by reading the guides.

Good luck with your visa journey. God bless you.

Here is the link to the K-1 Manila Embassy Visa Guide put together by Sheriff Uling and others. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=129059

As mentioned above; Have him bring the G325-A so you can fill it out and sign it...

Have him save his boarding passes or anything that would help you show proof that you two were together..... Photos, photos, photos.... Take plenty of them!

Just follow the guides and if you need additional help, just ask anyone on this board... Most people are willing to help.... Good Luck to you!!!!

(I'm going for the IR-1 and blowing off the K-3. Even if it takes an extra couple months, it's worth it to not have to deal with USCIS again)

"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Welcome to the USA!!!
