GOOD DAY to ALL VJs,

Ive been reading this site and learned many things about processing fiance visa. My fiance and I is getting ready to file this month, just getting ready to assemble some papers.

I just want to ask this question so i will know what to do. Philippine Birth Certificate usually has clerical errors and i am one who has on it. I have my middle name erroneously typed as INDAYAN and its suppose to be INDOYON. i have followed what is written on my birth certificate. i made all my papers and even my passport written as INDAYAN. some told me to just made AFFIDAVIT OF TWO DISINTERESTED PERSON signed by a lawyer, attesting the me that has a midle name of INDAYAN and INDOYON is one and the same person. i would like to know if i need to attach this affidavit when we file the visa. and i have a daughter who is using the correct middle name INDOYON and on her birth certificate my middle name there is INDOYON. and she will be included on the visa. just to be aware that it wont be a conflict of her middle name and my middle. am i doing the right way? any advice regarding this one before we could start to file.?

thanks in advance and have a good day..

Maybe you could try asking NSO how to sort this out or maybe you could try apply passport for your daughter (assuming she still don't have one), the DFA consul will be quick to notice and point out anything that needs to be amended before passport issuance... and which would likely be needed to be corrected during the actual visa process.

I am assuming you are still preparing to file the initial petition. Your birth certificate and your daughter's birth certificate is not needed in the initial petition, it will be needed during interview.

Good luck and may your visa process be smooth sailing for you.
