The whole reason I came on VJ today was to look at the Pyramid Webcam to get an idea what time of the day it was for Waleed in Cairo. He's on his leave from the military this week. If I can get a shot of the Pyramids then maybe I am looking at something close to him. His land. His air. His sky. He's so funny. He always says, "The sun rises there for you." You know the whole east meets west thing. The sun just visited me and goes to meet him. I guess then I could imagine the sun rises here for him to meet me each day.

Oooooooooh! They have a timelapse video up today of a day and night in the life of the Pyramids! That is awesome!

I miss him sooooooooooooo much. Our 2 yr. anniversary is in about a month and it makes me sad to spend a second one apart from him. It's just been so long. I have to try and keep positive. Just six more months till we are together again!

Thx. I pray for that too. How long were you two apart? I remember the baby was born just after he came and you alone some during your pregnancy. Is that right?

That must have been hard too facing bringing a child into this world and not knowing when your hubby would get the visa.

Thx. I pray for that too. How long were you two apart? I remember the baby was born just after he came and you alone some during your pregnancy. Is that right?

That must have been hard too facing bringing a child into this world and not knowing when your hubby would get the visa.

I actually went through the pregnancy by myself. He came when Malek was only 7.5 weeks old. I had a terrible time after delivery and almost bled to death and was totally exhausted from a c-section so I needed the extra week of help to rest up before I went right back to work. We were separated about 10 months after applying. I did visit him the month before I had the baby. Crazy, I know... It was very hard facing what I faced but I had hope that one day we would be able to raise our son together. I knew it was all in God's plan we just had to be patient, but sometimes that isn't hard to practice when you are going through it.
