BRIGHTON, England, Aug. 8 (UPI) -- A local court in England has fined a woman about $600 for disturbing her neighbors with her noisy love life.

Kerry Norris appeared before magistrates in Brighton and Hove on the south coast this week for ignoring a noise abatement notice, The Telegraph reported.

Norris said in her defense that she has a "normal sex life." But the magistrate believed the neighbors and fined her 200 pounds plus 100 pounds court costs and a 15-pound "victim surcharge."

Neighbors said Norris and her boyfriend, Adam Hinton, would go at it all night, yelling obscenities during their lovemaking. They also complained that the headboard of Norris's bed banged against the wall, creating more disturbance.

"I have had to take days off work because of the lack of sleep," Richard Powell, who lives next door, said.

Powell's wife, Sarah, said she had had to change her children's bedroom to keep them from overhearing what was going on.

There were also complaints that Norris sunbathes in the nude.

Bleh, leave it to nanny government to fine people for enjoying themselves in one of the most natural ways possible.

Kids are gonna hear it anyways. Good thing is, hearing it traumatizes them, and they'll never want to hear it again. So they'll get their asses to sleep a lil' bit faster when it's bed time.

LOL we had this couple who were so loud when I was living in a dorm... anyway, the rooms in this dorm were set up like a quad so that 4 rooms shared a bathroom, and all the bathrooms adjoined by janitor's doors. One of the rooms had to have the noisey couple in it. I remember her yelling "F!ck me! F!ck me! F!ck me!" over and over and over... until finally someone from another room yelled, "Just f!ck her and get it over with so we can f!cking sleep!!" Then there was a roar of laughter from pretty much all the rooms down the line, and silence from the couple....
