wouldn't that be a novel ideal. they should have sent more cases to CSC so that they could show they are ahead of CSC. then they could do what they are doing nothing for us at VSC.

Seriously, I'm a librarian so I think I could deal with their file organization issues - even if you're dealing with thousands of files how hard would it be to keep them more or less in month order so you don;t have July filers getting approved ahead of January filers for the same type of visa, with no expedite??? Just take a Sharpie and write the date on the side of each box what month it is.... Maybe I'm over-simplifying but c'mon they must have dealt with this kind of backlog before.

They need to hire some people from the IRS.... :unsure:

oct. 6, 2008 ------received AOS bill/paid online

oct. 7, 2008 ------shows PAID

oct. 14,2008 -----IV fee generated/ paid online

oct. 15,2008 -----shows PAID

oct. 16,2008 -----mailed DS230 overnight

oct. 23,2008 ---- RFE

nov. 3,2008 ----- case complete

nov. 26,2008 --- medical exam

aug. 14,2009 --- remedical finally, passed

aug. 24, 2009 -- interview , passed

aug. 29, 2009 -- visa in hand

sept. 24, 2009 -- POE LAX

Just thought I'd give an FYI. I filed a I-130 on 1/9/08 (NOA1 notice date 2/8/08) with Vermont and received an email notification that I was transferred today to the CA Service Center.

I filed in Feb...received NOA1 March 3...received approval notice on June 5......spoke to NVC tonight and told that my case is in administrative process and that there is no timeline for this...anyone have this experience?

8/21/08 Spoke to NVC - could not understand person on phone - talking in circles about administrative process

9/17/08 Received DS-3032 / I-864 Bill

9/17/08 Paid I-864 Bill

9/17/08 Returned Completed DS-3032 - Completed via email

10/21/08 Notification from NVC - DS3032 Received

10/22/08 Paid IV Fee Bill

12/08/08 Waiting for paperwork from my husband.....tick....tock....

3/16/09 Mailed DS230 Package

3/18/09 NVC received package

4/05/09 NVC requested more information

8/3/09 Husband sending documents to me...

5/1/10 Email from NVC with interview date - whoo hoo!

6/1/10 Interview date!

7/16/10 Second Interview - hopefully he will be coming home with me!

8/13/10 Approval letter received, VISA to be picked up on 8/16/10!!!

9/13/10 POE New York...no issues, he'll be in Cali on the 24th!!!

9/24/10 California...finally together at last.

10/13/10 Green card received in mail...whoo hoo...

I'm good but a little(lol) frustrated since NOTHING this week.... :angry:

Another transferee to CSC just got approved, she filed in 10/07...

Please VSC give us some sign that our file is still in the pipeline....
