No baby yet...I can't call anyone these days without them excitedly wondering if I'm calling with some good news!

It might yet be a while, I say.

Or not! I'm meeting my sister for an Indian buffet for lunch--they say that spicy food can sometimes trigger labor, but I doubt it will for me since I eat spicy food all the time (helps being married to a Moroccan :yes: ).

I wish I was going to the Arab Fest! Have fun Jackie and crowd!

ETA: I just loked at the date when I signed up for VJ: Aug. 14, 2004! Wow, nearly 4 years ago! And the due date for my baby is Aug. 14th...maybe it's a sign? I'd be thrilled to meet our little one on this coming Thursday!

My best friend went into labor about 5-6 hours after eating at an Indian buffet! :thumbs: Hope it works for you too... Keep us posted when you can. :star:

I miss my computer!!! :crying::crying::crying:

Still can't get the virus out of it. :angry::angry:

I just scoffed my daughter's as soon as she left with her sister for nana and grampy's so I am able to say hi quickly before I have to work since I couldn't work yesterday much. UGH. We lost power for over 5 hours last night too right when the Olympic ceremonies were starting.

In other news, I love my husband soooo much! (L):dancing:^_^:wub::dance::blush::energy:

Hope everyone has a great caturday!!!! I'd go look for pictures but the last time I did that my computer died. :crying:

Hey hey everybody!!! I just talked to Jackie - she's w/ Malarie, Terrie, & Kamal smoking hookah and having a good time at the ArabFest. They even rode a camel... I wish I was there too!!! Jackie will post pics later -

It's VJ phone day for me - I also had the pleasure of a "conference call" w/ MBP & Amal! Dangit - why don't we live closer???

Well, I'm about to cook a beef tagine w/ some halal beef we got today on our shopping trip to New Orleans.

BTW, I love all the updated pics of the kiddie pies! Ta Me, my favorite of your little princess is the 3rd one w/ the towel around her face - maybe after a bath? Just precious! Pineapple princess is looking pretty sweet too in her pool floatie. I'm hoping we have a few new additions soon. :star:

Im off work, did 3 hours of grocery shopping and now cooking up some dinner for tonite..Im off tomorrow thank god! maybe ill try to get some updated pics of zaid on my siggy today!

Julianna...OMG...you have to do as Amal and everyone recommended...explain, explain and then give him a break and explain again. Tell him its a US custom :whistle: that husband/wife do not split up during family visits plus they might enjoy it! Hehe :) I can not believe they are coming for 20 days...Yikes :) FUN TIMES!! Remember me...I will have Mom her for about 6 months! :blink::blink: Jackie has the right idea..Red Roof Inn!

Nawal!!!!! I miss our late night conversations and starting trouble too. This internet is driving me crazy. I just only get a short burst of signal every couple minutes. I watch the lights on the wireless router for it to come on just so I can post any message, but after awhile I lose patience for the whole thing. There is supposed to be some security updates with my service provider so I'm thinking they are doing them at night and slowing down the service. I hope this ends soon.

lol, I totally agree. I don't know why they slow down the internet just before 8pm. A lot of people are still online at that time. Then it doesn't clear up until 6am. Its just ridiculous.

I miss seeing ya SnS and Nawal at night. Julianna and I have been having all the fun. :P

I'm fight through the internet troubles. It seems they are giving me a couple minutes connection, lol. It never lasts though :(
