I-765 Rejection Letter

Hey all,

I got a rejection letter today for my EAD and it stated that I used an old form not accepted (which is weird because I downloaded it from their website and it states "expires 08/31/08")

They also send me a copy of the form to use but my question is:

Do I have to resubmit all the evidence i.e. get more passport photos etc?

Any input would be useful.

I'm just going to resubmit everything they ask for in the instructions. Even if they don't need anything I doubt it will hurt.

Hi there . I think it's a good idea too to include all the evidences when you resubmit the EAD. I've read before that they tend to lose files . Good luck on your AOS process

Funny thing is that the picture on the EAD is the one they take at the biometrics appointment.

THe pics you send get stapled to you application and stay in your file.

Where can people get the new form from? All they have is the one with "Exp 08/31/08" on their website.

The form I sent and got returned had 8/31/08 on it and so did the version they shipped with my rejection letter. There are tiny changes on the one that they now want.

I'm pretty sure that I sent my EAD application using the form I downloaded when first collecting all the needed paperwork a month or two before actually submitting it.

I guess I just got unlucky that they happened to change the form in between then and when I actually sent it.
