So I get this PM that is basically the same as the Nigeria scam. Anyone else get the same PM?

The quality of these scam messages has really dropped over the last few years. It's like they don't care about their craft anymore. Somewhere around here, I have an original 1995 Nigerian Scam Letter typed with a real typewriter on thin paper, signed in ink, complete with canceled Nigerian postage stamps. You can even see a couple of corrections. Made you really feel the personal attention, ya know? Now, it's just click and spam, click and spam. A four-year-old could do it.

You know, that is something that really dissappoints me. I may not approve of crime or whatever, but I also do not like incompetency. I can appreciate doing something well and right. So if you're going to scam, at least be good at it and go to the max! Don't try to pass off ####### as gold.

i once received an email about being a sponsor for this artist who he personally picked me to handle his hundreds of thousands dollars and it was all legal, he must of had a hundred typos in his letter, you would think these people would take the time and at least use spell check

And to come up with a more plausable story. What happened to figuring out which old and forgotten relative of theirs died and left them money which needs to be wired to their account, would they please do a test wire to this bank account #... and...
