EAD will be processed based on NOA1 or biometric?

I already have received a letter from USCIS and my biometric appointment is on the 15th of August. Next Friday. I got my NOA1 on the 28th of July. I was kind of surprised that I got an appointment that quickly.

My friend told me that they will process my EAD quickly after biometric.

I wonder if USCIS processes EAD based on the date of NOA1 or biometric date. I know that some people filed EAD and got biometric very late even though they filed on the similar dates.

7/19 AOS package has been mailed

7/21 AOS package was arrived in Chicogo.

7/28 NOA1 for AOS, EAD, AP

8/15 Biometric done

This is subject to discussion..... i kept all stats locked to NOA1 because sometime people are transferred to CSC even before their biometric... (does it applies just for AOS, i don't know)

Wich make me think it's just 2 different process

I still would think it's about the NOA1

02.24.2011 Biometric

03.25.2011 Approved

03.28.2011 Notice sent

03.31.2011 Received new green card (and it's green !)

09/01/2010 - Case status appears online

11/08/2010 - Card production ordered

11/13/2010 - I-751 Approval Letter received

11/19/2010 - Green Card received in the mail

Citizenship

08/01/2011 - Filed for Citizenship (N-400)

08/03/2011 - N400 Packet received

08/05/2011 - Received email/text confirming application receipt

08/08/2011 - Check cashed

08/09/2011 - Biometrics notice sent

08/12/2011 - NOA received for N400

08/12/2011 - Biometrics appointment letter received

Well your fingerprint appears on the EAD so I assume it's based on the biometrics.

Its only "based" on the biometric if the appointment is scheduled further out then the file is ready for approval (ie : ASC office backed up).

They adjudicate when all components are completed - generally around 90 days from filing.

Agree... But more Based on NOA1 with the biometric that need to be done sooner or later to achieve the process

Thank you everyone. I really wanna apply for jobs, but unless I have EAD card, I cannot even apply. It makes me go crazy.
