That's debatable...I mean VSC is processing 129F's faster, but not for K3s...for K1s instead. This was confirmed today by an immigration officer I spoke to at VSC. He told me that once you send in 129F, it's coupled with 130, which we all know, but is processed as if it were 130 and by 130 timelines...

I was told the other way around. The agent told me if you filed I130 along with I129F, they will process the I130 by I129f timeline......Man different agent will tell u diff BS......No one to rely on...........

One thing I've figured out, is the only thing you can rely on for projecting an approval time, is recent approvals. Probably within the last 2-3 months. The processing times on the USCIS website are useless because they just add 30 days to the previous months date. Igor's list on the link provided before, and Jim and Carol's spreadsheet are pretty good resources to get an idea of where your at. In my case I hope they process my case by the I-130 timelines. My sorry-a** lawyer waited over a month after I-130 NOA1 to send in the I-129F.

I was looking back in time and I noticed at the beginning of the year, it was CSC that was way behind in lag time.

Also, if you go to the link for NOA1 approved for VSC at the top of the page, you can compare quite well,

between NOA1 and NOA2 given.

well, i removed everyone that hasnt checked into VJ for the last 2months.

that removed 56 from my #88.

That means only 32 weeks, right?.... ;)

14 K-1 approvals this week at VSC

1 K-3 approval this week at VSC

yes, but theres been 7 K-3 approvals so far this month. Thats 1/3 of August. looking back through the rest of 2008, the largest amount of approvals I found in 1 month was 20. So thats right in step with a high amount for the month,

F**ked up how we rationalize all these numbers, idn't it?...:)

Also, I see for the CR1 list, that there are 130's being transfered from VSC to CSC.....

whad up wit dat?

don't sweat it guys...just look at the list and it seems like many people that show as PENDING on visajourney are already approved and didn't bother to update their timeline....very selfish! Besides, given the load-balancing, it only makes sense that they start banging out these approvals soon.

what's wrong with me? why don't I ever give up hope?

Laugh. I agree. I figure the first 15-20 on the list waiting for K-3 approval are invalid. Also, I saw a few duplicates on there. So you can probably just subtract 20 from whatever number you are on the list. Another thing I find interesting, is that there is only like 20 people waiting for K-3 approval at CSC within the processing times.

hi

how do you know that you figure the first list ?????????? for the k3

I hope it means that VSC will start clearing some of the K-3s. Probably means they will start working on N-400s or something like that. From what I can tell, they only transferred CR-1/IR-1 from 2007. Where were you seeing 7 K-3 approvals? I only see 5, and one of those was an RFE.

Also, by checked in, are you looking at the "last updated" or "last visited?"

how do you know that??????????????????????,

I looked here at this list:

http://cse.ssl.berkeley.edu/igor/vjdata/vsc.aspx

There are duplicates on that list, as well as people that probably have not continued to update their time lines or visit VJ. I am not saying 15-20 is accurate, but somewhere around there. Notice there is two duplicates at least, maybe more:

Cynthia and Michael

Yazied and Lisa

I stand corrected...."5".......sheeeeit

Yes, and I removed anyone from this list:

that hasn't checked in for 2+ months as MIA
