I know, but atleast the didn't hang up on me... I think since we call so much, they were asked to not to answer any of our questions.... cuz the more they answer the more ppl will call...

Sux to say, but we can't to anything but wait.. Though I contacted my congresswoman n they placed an inquiry, so lets see if they can help...... but I have a feeling they say the same s**t.

I think their delay is so great, even congressional inquiry doesnt do #######

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

Called VSC RFE Line and they didn't give me any information, so there goes that. I am never calling again! It only adds to my anxiety.

I also called them. Got to speak to the supervisor.(wasnt and easy task) Now supervisor informed me that his agents arent allowed to speak to me anymore.(haha) She was explaining how they do things around vermont. This is her direct words " Sir, sometimes an agent might MISS a box and more boxes come in and go on top of that "MISSED" box so that might be a problem" They toy with our life like its nothing. Woops we missed a box, now you'll have to wait extra 6 months!.... Sorrrrrryyyyyyy.......

So I asked her to transfer me to CSC she said I might be transferred soon, but not 100%. She also told me to be patient, to which I laughed.

I KNEW IT!!!! I knew we were all jus in that same ####### box sitting under a bunch of other ####### boxes. EEDIATS!!!

I LOVE MY HUSBAND!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm curious what are they transferring to CSC? K-1s, K-3s, or CR-1/IR-1? Or all of the above?

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Welcome to the USA!!!

Illya - What a torment this process is turning out to be for us. I will regret not knowing much about the immigration process before deciding to get married in India. Had I known better, I'd have opted for K-1 and not gotten married there! But then again, no one f**king plans their life around immigration. As US Citizens, we can only hope that there is a process that guarantees that our families won't be compromised. Apparently, the threat of terrorism or whatever their (government's) excuse has also seem to take that away from us. Ilya - I've a feeling that they will send another batch of cases to CSC.

This is just not right and what sort of democracy we live in that we are tolerating this s**t. Nobody deserves this. Not even our enemies.

Khaleda - That's a very canned response you got there...I was hoping to get more 'color' from them too, but keep on getting these very subdued responses. I am never calling them, unless, god forbid, I get a RFE.

I agree, my fault for not planning around immigration's timetable. Its funny the supervisor, actually asked me why I didnt bring her over with visitor's visa and just did AOS? LOL, caz I am an idiot :)

r u serious??!?!?!?!?! wow!! here i am whose wife has a vistor/business visa and have given my wife strict instructions not to come over and turn down any business offers as it may create issues at the POE (according to attorneys)...i guess there is such a huge grey line and no one can predict anything....apparently not even lawyers who dont have a clue about what they are talking about....total disappointment!

The immigration office was very friendly.

She said that the cases were transferred to ease the backlog, that we already knew.

She said that the cases sent by Vermont Service Center will be processed immediately. As soon as they are uploaded into the system, they will be immediately taken to the floor for adjudication. Having said that, our cases are in transport but have not been recieved by CSC as yet. After they have been recieved it will take about 2 weeks to get uploaded. The people that recieve the cases are contractors and they have two shifts, so they will be working on uploading these cases. She said that i can however call back in about a month to talk to someone and see how the process is going. I asked her how long should it be before i get a decision. She said that it could take about a month and a half to two months to get either a decision or an RFE.

All in all, she said that our cases will be top priority once it has been received.

Good luck to all of us. Let's keep praying.

Thanks for calling and for the info Mrs Rowe. I got an email today saying our case has reached CSC and is now pending standard processing there.

Let's hope they do start working on them immediately!

Funny for me was that I told that to my boyfriend and he said it was "fraud", now we are in the big hole. We applied on December 2007, still waiting for a K-1 approval.

Unfortunately they have taken that option away. There is no longer an option to call that line. I guess they realized that peopel found it as an inside track to talk to an immigration officers are not the drones that answer the phones. :innocent:
