Question, pls help.

Okay so my wife has a friend in Canada, she met her when they went to Canada about 6-7 years ago right after the war in Kosova, they stayed there for a a year and a half..my wife and her family and went back to Kosova(My country). So now her friend wants to send her a visit-visa..or tourist visa, whatever its called..

Will her coming to Canada for 2-3 weeks affect our process to getting her a visa or anything like that?

I'm like 8 hours away driving to Canada so i'll just go there and see her..and stay with her until she leaves...or can she enter the United States?

Where she enters from does not matter. She is still subject the same visa requirements as she is now (based on her citizenship). If her citizenship requires her to have a visa then she needs a visa. If so, no visa, no entry

She can enter as many time as she wants to the US... It's awsome that you will get to be together... Drive safe!!!

Everyone must now present a passport even at land border crossings between Canada and the United States. Just as fwaguy stated, if her passport was issued by a country that requires a tourist visa to visit the US, she will not be let in. Best to stick to your original road trip plan.

Basically, she will need a visa to visit Canada. While she is in Canada - she could apply for a tourist visa to visit and enter the United States. Given that you're undergoing immigration procedure right now - she may be denied a visa.

As a USC, you can travel to Canada to visit her. Go home and finish the rest of the process. As fwaguy said - her traveling to visit Canada does not affect her application in the US - as she is entitled to have a life. If Canada lets her in - that's Canada's business and none of the US'.
