Hello

Finally we are in May and can file the I-751. I have read on the form about what kind of proof we need, but prefer to ask again :-). if this would be proof enough:

* Last two years' joint tax returns

* Joint bank account statements and joint savings account

* Joint ownership for our house

* Homeowners insurance bill for both names

* Car insurance for both names

* Earning statements (showing that we are both working for the same company)

* Dentist insurance bill on our address

Since we are both working for the same company, we don't have a joint insurance (it is a problem?)

* A letter from my OB/GYN attestion that I am pregnant and a ultrasound picture of our baby (due day in July)

* Some letters addresses to us from my daughter's school

* Copy from school directory, named both of us as parents

* Letters from our friends signed and certified

* A copy of two-three invoices from my daughter activities on our both names

We did not keep any ticket stubs, is it a problem?

Thank you very much

HI! you've included a plenty enough information! You'll be fine! Also ,if i were you, i would also include few picture of you, kids and your husband together and name all the pictures with a brease description of where and wehn was that taken , plus i would also attach the pictures of your friends and you on them together to their affidavits, but all of that is not very much mandatory ,but i think that would make file look much better.

Also get an index thing in Wall-Mart and make a table of contents for your file ,so the ins would know where is what located at and they will not have problem to find the documents they need to look at if its necessary.

Take Care.

Sincerely. :)

Looks pretty good. Only thing I see that you could throw in there is a few utility bills (gas&electric, phone, cable tv, etc.) that have both your names and car registation and title if those are in both names. Wouldn't worry about the ticket stubs.

If you want to include them fine, but personally for this I don't think photos are going to do much for you. You are trying to prove comingled finances and joint ownership to show you have a legit marriage Photos really don't help to do any of that.

I think you are wrong.Photos of them together is a very good proof and it doesnt have to be the marriage photos only, they can include just the regular events photos of them together and with their friends, because actually if you read the www. uscis.gov website you will be able to notice that the photos are considered to be the relevant evidence of the real marriage .

Also in my case ,besides the affidavits from our friends , my husband wrote an affidavit from himself about our relationship and etc., as well and i;m personally wrote an affidavit from myself about my point of view of our relationship, how we;ve met and etc,...Also my husband's mother wrote an affidavit as well. So we ;ve basically included the 8 affidavits total friends and us.

Sincerely.

Evidence of the Relationship. Submit copies of documents indicating that the marriage upon which you were granted conditional status was entered in ''good faith'' and was not for the purpose of circumventing immigration laws. Submit copies of as many documents as you wish to establish this fact and to demonstrate the circumstances of the relationship from the date of the marriage to the present date, and to demonstrate any circumstances surrounding the end of the relationship, if it has ended. The documents should cover the period from the date of your marriage to the filing of this petition.

Examples of such documents are:

Birth certificate(s) of child(ren) born to the marriage.

Lease or mortgage contracts showing joint occupancyand/or ownership of your communal residence.

Financial records showing joint ownership of assets andjoint responsibility for liabilities, such as joint savingsand checking accounts, joint federal and state tax returns, insurance policies that show the other spouse as thebeneficiary, joint utility bills, joint installments or other oans.

Other documents you consider relevant to establish that your marriage was not entered into in order to evade the U.S. immigration laws.

Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by at least two people who have known both of you since your conditionalresidence was granted and have personal knowledge ofyour marriage and relationship.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Not one word about photos. Plus they don't care how you met. They want to know what's been going on since you got married. If you want to build your case on photos and affidavits go right ahead.

THey're concerned about whether you've taken the steps to create a joint life... they don't care that you've been in each other's presence the last two years...

Does me having pictures that I have with me and Renee Zelwegger at a bar here in Detroit mean that I have a shared life with her... Hardly... If that doesn't indicate a shared life, what makes you think that pictures of the two of you would...

This is our problem... :( Almost everything (except home ownership and joint accounts) i son my husband name.

For gas&electric, phone, cable tv, we simply did not think at that time. We complettely forgot about this petition. We can ask now to include me, but we can only have one last month paper.

Is it a problem? For pics, yes, we have them and can send with no problem.

What can we do for this utilities.

For cable TV we ask to put it on our both name, but as my husband talked to them on phone, they sent us invoice with his only name on it.

For phone and especially cell phone, I could not do it because I had not have credit story at the time I have had my phone.

For cars, too, there are on lease, so for credit story prob, everything on my husband name, except car insurance...

Please help !!! :(

I didn't mean to send you into a state of shock. What you have is pretty good as is. I was just suggesting a few things that you didn't have listed that we used. If you don't have them just go with what you have. Most of what you have is much better than photos and self written affidavits.
