HG would imply we find you attractive (I think it has a mostly physical implication but some would also say perhaps mentally, but usually I think "Hot" is used to describe someone whom you find to be physically (and very likely sexually) attractive), which imagine how well that would go over with our husbands... although it's in a name context here, what any of our Dhs would see if they read was "hey there hot guy!" and it would open, for some, a can of worms and lots of questions and I can't even imagine where that would go with mine-- probably would get reaaaaaallllllyyyy mad and let me know about how unacceptable it is and how that kind of thing could be reason for divorce in Jordan (as he's pretty careful to let me know the possible cultural context and try to not get mad and offer understanding lol), etc. as he has managed to master when to use "hot" and when not to use it lol.

I think tonight we are going to try and get a sitter and maybe get a gyro sandwich and check out the new sheesha coffee bar in our area. We have very little Arab restaurants so this is a big thing for us!

How ironic all these cats being posted on here .... I am so tired! Husband and I was up all night trying to get this baby cat out that was stuck upstairs! Poor cat finally was taken out after my husband broke half of our window sill and poured half gallon of water on it to move closer to him! I need a nap now!

My plans for the weekend..gas up the Sentra,,,it's time once again for Jackie's Summer Road Trip! JSRT 2008 will be to Milwaukee, scoop Mal up along the way and head north to Terrie. A day in the sun with friends, listening to music and trying new foods. hmmm hookah tent or debkah lessons?

But before the wild weekend.....I have to get thru Friday. A sales meeting from 8-10am ,, measure a house then lunch with Alexis. Then back to work from 3-8. My days are full and it helps getting thru this immig wait. Wake me when its over. That's my new motto.

Henia...we have a new baby cat! She is wild and crazy and roams the house and knocks at the doors at night! She is only 6 weeks old and the poor thing had fleas on her and the vet told me to give her a bath in Ivory dish soap to kill them last night. My arms look like I have gone mad and cut myself! She went nuts in the bath last night. Poor baby! It is so weird with the cat pics!

Tamara, have you given the kitties a flea bath? i hate to tell ya this, but once fleas are in your house/carpet, things like that, they are VERY hard to get rid of...My sis lives in a heavily wooded area and her two dogs are constantly getting fleas and ticks..well the last time she came home she gave it to my dog...I use a flea shampoo recommended by my vet and bought this spray that we sprayed all thru my house (thankfuly we are carpet free, just hardwood) but you really need to get it now because fleas just multiply and multiply...

Jackie, IM SOOO JEALOUS...i told sofyan about the fest, but, we both have to work you ladies have a great time!

Im extra tired this morning, zaid just didnt wanna sleep in...lol..I have to work 12-8 but i think i wont go in til 2..its nice to have luxuries like that.

Well, believe it or not we were told on a kitten that little you can't use flea dip or bath. But this Ivory dish soap killed the ones on her body. They were falling off of her and it totally freaked me out..Yuckkkkkkkk!!!!! I think we need to do her another time and then bomb the house and keep up the baths until she is old enough for frontline. I know those fleas are gross and I will die if they try and take over my home! Dagblasted things...if they bite the baby I will get my hubby for this! He's the one that brought that little kitten home!
